We were lucky enough to be invited to a Destination Polaris ride-along with our friends at Triple Threat Offroad, out of Mansfield, TX for an upcoming episode of Destination Polaris.  We took in some incredible sights in our two Polaris XP1000 machines for three awesome days with only one casualty. Climbing to just under 13K feet in the thin mountain air requires some badass machines, and thanks to the guys at Triple Threat Offroad and some amazing lift/suspension work by the guys at S3 Powersports, we were able to climb not just one, but two peaks of the Rocky Mountains on some of the most pristine trails we’d ever seen.

In one word, our Destination Polaris ride-a-long in Taylor Park, Colorado was…. Epic.   20 miles up the canyon from beautiful Gunnison, Colorado is the perfect home away from home with the sights, smells and sounds of Taylor Park and the equally beautiful Taylor Park Reservoir.  Taylor Park sits at 9,242 feet elevation so you can imagine, we had plenty of layers (not enough!) to adjust to the inclement Colorado weather.

Our recommendation is to book a trip here, and book it fast because this is one of the most beautiful unknown gems in the Rocky Mountains. Millions of miles of trails, 360 views of the entire state, and trails even the most advanced mountain goat will enjoy.
